The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Pope misses
and Silva counters with a left and a right that stings Pope.
Pope looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Pope throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva lands with an uppercut that bounces Pope off the cage and back into range.
Silva scores with a hook to the body. Pope takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Silva closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Robo Pope has been cut.
Donk. Silva catches Pope right on the button with a cross.

Oooooh!!! Silva has knocked Pope down with a huge combo! Silva steps away and waves a wobbly Pope back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Pope is rocked!

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Silva engages and cracks Pope with a massive lead left hook - Pope tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Silva is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
