Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fred Palowakski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Shouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Palowakski might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Burning Down the House. On his way into the cage it seems that Fred Palowakski has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Fred Palowakski seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Palowakski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
32 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joshua Shouse ! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palowakski scores with a nice right hand.
Palowakski feints and as Shouse raises his hands in defense, Palowakski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Shouse looking to control.
Palowakski sitting in guard, not really doing much. Shouse is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Palowakski dives into side control.
Palowakski working away. Palowakski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Palowakski working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shouse struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shouse tries to buck Palowakski off but Palowakski is having none of it. Palowakski working away. Palowakski wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Shouse , who protects the arm well. Shouse wants to control but Palowakski postures up. Shouse prevents Palowakski from improving position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shouse is looking to reverse the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shouse struggling a bit here. Shouse is looking to regain half guard here but Palowakski keeps moving and retains side control. Shouse wants to get back to his feet but Palowakski drags him back down. Palowakski advances to mount. Palowakski avoids the attempt from Shouse to control. Shouse taking shots to the head. Palowakski looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Palowakski fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Shouse is looking to get to half guard. Palowakski goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Shouse is on top in guard.
Shouse throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Shouse looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shouse trying to control the position from guard on top but Palowakski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shouse tries to free his leg and advance position but Palowakski is retaining full guard. Palowakski wants to sweep here but Shouse controlling him for the moment. Palowakski keeping moving, preventing Shouse from controlling successfully. Palowakski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Palowakski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shouse 's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Palowakski dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Shouse throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Palowakski's waist but Palowakski gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shouse off to one side. Shouse takes a jab right on the kisser.
Palowakski comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Shouse has his takedown stuffed and Palowakski counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Shouse changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Palowakski fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Fred Palowakski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joshua Shouse . Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Palowakski!
Shouse is rocked! Shouse avoids the body shot from Palowakski.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Palowakski rushes Shouse and presses him up against the cage. Shouse breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Shouse gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Palowakski to counter with a crisp jab. Shouse is still on wobbly legs! Can Palowakski finish him? Palowakski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Palowakski moves into range and clinches up with Shouse .
That's one minute gone in the round. Palowakski is working Shouse over against the cage. Shouse seems to have recovered his senses. A short left from Palowakski. Shouse can't get the takedown.
Shouse avoids a wild elbow strike from Palowakski. Palowakski has Shouse pressed against the cage, preventing Shouse from circling away and getting back to striking at range. A nice left hand lands by Palowakski.
Palowakski is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Shouse can do to turn this around? The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Palowakski takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Shouse tries to pull guard but Palowakski forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Shouse tries for a takedown but Palowakski manages to get underhooks.
Shouse is fighting off a takedown attempt but Palowakski is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Shouse to the mat. Shouse regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palowakski is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Shouse is looking to stand up but Palowakski isn't so interested in that idea. Shouse working a defensive guard here.
Palowakski throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shouse works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Palowakski gets to his feet - Shouse follows without any prompting. Palowakski lands with a nice body punch. Shouse looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Palowakski is fending him off so far but Shouse persists. Nope, Palowakski circles away and we're back to standing. Palowakski drives through with a takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Palowakski thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Shouse utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shouse preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Shouse is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Palowakski slips nicely into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shouse can do anything to dispel that myth. Palowakski controlling the action here. Palowakski is trying to work for a kimura but Shouse is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Shouse trying to control from the bottom.
Palowakski not landing any meaningful shots this time. Shouse trying to hold on to Palowakski's head to control him but Palowakski postures up.
Shouse is looking for a sweep. Palowakski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Shouse trying to control here.
Shouse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Palowakski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fred Palowakski dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Palowakski connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Shouse momentarily.
Shouse finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Palowakski's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Shouse falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fred Palowakski!
