Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Stick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz has chosen Boombastic (Mr Lover Lover) by Shaggy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Stick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Fernando Diaz! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick from Stick misses and Diaz counters with a takedown into side control. Diaz trying to control the position but Stick is working away. Diaz is trying to get an arm triangle but Stick is defending well. Diaz tries for a kimura but Stick is defending well. Diaz happy to just control the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stick is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz staying calm. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz wants to control but Stick is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Diaz working away. Diaz tries to advance to mount but can't. Diaz advances to full mount. Stick is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz controlling from mount. Diaz tries to control but Stick wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz looking to control and managing it successfully. Stick is squirming around, avoiding Diaz's attempts to control the action.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Diaz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Stick haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Diaz sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Diaz pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Stick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Diaz looking to take Stick's back but Stick rolls and after a scramble, Stick ends up on top in guard. Nice escape there from Stick to escape a tricky position. Diaz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fernando Diaz dominated that round. That's time! Stick's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nice takedown defense from Diaz. No joy for Stick on that attempt. Stick fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Diaz drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Stick defends it well. Diaz has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Stick dives in and grabs Diaz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Diaz pushes down on Stick's head and hops out. Diaz has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Stick is landing a low percentage of strikes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Stick. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stick throws a jab when Diaz was well out of range. Diaz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stick. Diaz throws a big shot that misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Diaz. Stick does a little dance to reset his feet. Stick swings away with a leg kick that misses. Stick gets a takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz moves into full guard.
Stick chips away with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz working for a triangle but Stick defends it easily.
Stick seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Diaz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stick defends it easily. Diaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Diaz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stick can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Diaz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stick controls the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stick landing some decent shots from guard. Diaz looking for a triangle here. Stick is fighting it but it looks tight! Diaz pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Stick is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Fernando Diaz! Fernando Diaz spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
