Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tore Rebo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roberto Piras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rebo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Papa Roach - Burn. Tore Rebo has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roberto Piras! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A clash of legs there as Piras blocks the low kick. Rebo throws a nice inside leg kick. Piras checks a leg kick nicely. Piras is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Piras on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rebo. Rebo obviously looking to wear him down.
Rebo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Piras swings for the body but Rebo moves out of range.
Piras rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rebo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rebo circles away from the clinch attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Good leg kick by Rebo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Piras let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Rebo lands a big head kick that sends Piras tumbling to the mat! Rebo takes a step backwards and waves Piras back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Piras throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rebo lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Piras scores with a body shot.

Piras scores with a hook to the body. Rebo takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Rebo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Piras. Rebo throws a half hearted mid kick. Piras looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Piras throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It appears Rebo was looking to counter with a kick there. Piras lands a jab to Rebo's midsection. Piras fails with an attempt to clinch.

Rebo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Rebo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Piras throws a right hand that Rebo ducks under and follows up with a left that Rebo also avoids with ease. Rebo is looking to counter punch. Rebo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Rebo scores with a leg kick.

Rebo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Piras moves in looking to clinch but Rebo pushes him off. Piras clinches. Rebo lands with a right to the head. Rebo throws a head punch that misses. Rebo gets underhooks to prevent Piras's takedown attempt.
Piras jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rebo walks away with a smile on his face. Piras gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Piras ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rebo moves away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Rebo. Rebo fakes the leg kick and cracks Piras in the body. Rebo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Piras tries to clinch but Rebo moves out of range. Rebo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. This has been an exciting period of action! Rebo looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Piras throws a nice looking combination but Rebo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Piras blocks a low kick nicely. Rebo lands the left hand. Piras slips under a jab. Piras unleashes a big counter combination but Rebo bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Rebo doesn't manage to clinch there - Piras circles away.
Rebo delivers a nice body kick. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rebo delivers a nice body kick. Piras avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Piras is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rebo rather than just go for the knockout. Rebo lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Piras crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rebo - the referee stops the clock and Piras gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rebo. Piras manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tore Rebo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Roberto Piras's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Piras! But no joy. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Piras!
A looping hook to the body misses from Rebo. Piras does a little dance to reset his feet. Rebo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Rebo swings away with a leg kick that misses. Rebo tries to clinch up but Piras circles away and keeps his distance. Piras swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rebo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Piras moves away. A head kick misses from Rebo. Piras moves out of range as Rebo throws a body kick.
Rebo scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Rebo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Piras lands a jab to Rebo's midsection. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Piras throws a right and a left that Rebo avoids nicely. Rebo takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Rebo throws a low kick but Piras moves out of range easily. A combination from Piras does no damage. Nice straight punches there by Piras. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Piras. Rebo takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Piras tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Piras tries to close the distance and clinch but Rebo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Piras lands a left and a right that sends Rebo crashing to the canvas! Piras dives into mount looking to finish!
Rebo is rocked! Piras working for a guillotine from mount but Rebo is in no mood to give up. Oh Rebo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Rebo slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Rebo won't allow Piras to pass to mount. Piras seems to be working for a kimura but Rebo defends the submission attempt. Piras moves into full mount! Rebo won't be happy about that! Rebo is working to get back to half guard.
Piras is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Rebo is surviving well by controlling Piras's body position as best he can. Rebo tries to get back to half guard but can't. Rebo seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rebo is working hard here to advance position. Piras swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Rebo is now in Piras's guard. A big mistake from Piras there, giving up the dominant position! Piras escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rebo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rebo has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Piras to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Rebo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Piras pulls down on the head and he's put Rebo to sleep! This one is all over!
