Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cornelius Craft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lapu Gatmaitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cornelius Craft! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lapu Gatmaitan! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Roger Salmon.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatmaitan moves into range and clinches up with Craft. Craft really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Craft wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Gatmaitan misses with a knee to the head.
Gatmaitan has hold of one of Craft's legs. Craft is fighting the takedown attempt but Gatmaitan gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Craft throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Craft looking to control.
Gatmaitan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gatmaitan postures up.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Gatmaitan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Craft is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Craft has escaped and now he's on top!
Gatmaitan wants to sweep here but Craft controlling him for the moment. Craft will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gatmaitan looks winded!
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Gatmaitan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Craft doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Craft manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gatmaitan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Craft. Craft postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gatmaitan has momentary wrist control but Craft slips an elbow through the middle. Craft postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Craft is in close to Gatmaitan's body, working some short punches and elbows. Gatmaitan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Craft. Craft throwing strikes but missing. Craft throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Craft trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gatmaitan's guard. Gatmaitan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Craft's guard.
Craft wants to sweep but no luck. Craft keeping full guard, as Gatmaitan tries to pass. Gatmaitan forces his way into half guard. Craft knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gatmaitan on the ground. Craft is in trouble now - Gatmaitan has advanced to mount! Craft is trying to escape the mount.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Craft has given up his back.
Gatmaitan not allowing Craft to control his hands. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gatmaitan has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Craft is defending well but eventually Gatmaitan manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Craft has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lapu Gatmaitan! An out of breath Lapu Gatmaitan thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
