Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dillon Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veli Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weber kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ruff ryders' anthem. Veli Schwarzeneg has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 39 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dillon Weber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 53 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Veli Schwarzeneg! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schwarzeneg closes the distance and clinches up with Weber, looking for a takedown. Schwarzeneg pushes Weber against the cage but Weber circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. We've been informed that Schwarzeneg has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Weber misses with a jab, cross combination.
Schwarzeneg gets tackled into the cage by Weber. Weber maintains the clinch. A battle for position here, against the cage. Weber is defending well against a takedown attempt. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Weber creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Schwarzeneg wants a takedown.
Dillon Weber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Veli Schwarzeneg. Schwarzeneg is trying to trip Weber. He has hold of a leg but Weber is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Schwarzeneg persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Schwarzeneg advances position into side control! Schwarzeneg throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Weber is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Schwarzeneg asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schwarzeneg decides to take the fight back to the feet. Weber swinging wildly here.
Weber tries to sprawl but Schwarzeneg drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg sitting and controlling from the half guard. Schwarzeneg decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Weber fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Schwarzeneg, pushing him back against the cage. Weber is trying to push Schwarzeneg away but Schwarzeneg has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Weber looking to slow down the pace here. Weber is trying to force a seperation but Schwarzeneg has the dominant position. Schwarzeneg pulls guard effortlessly. Schwarzeneg throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Schwarzeneg has his foot on Weber's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Weber works his way back into a safe position though. Schwarzeneg has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Weber is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Schwarzeneg keeps control of Weber as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg goes for a takedown in the clinch but Weber prevents it.

Schwarzeneg bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Weber's guard.
Schwarzeneg stands up from Weber's guard - Schwarzeneg perhaps looking for a knockout. Weber throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Schwarzeneg counters by moving into the clinch. Schwarzeneg pulls guard effortlessly. Weber trying to control but Schwarzeneg is working from the bottom. Schwarzeneg looking for a sweep. Not yet Schwarzeneg, not yet. Weber got a little sloppy there for a moment and Schwarzeneg has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Weber has managed to get both his arms back between Schwarzeneg's legs - danger averted. Schwarzeneg trying to keep a closed guard but Weber is proving a slippery customer.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Schwarzeneg is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Weber preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Schwarzeneg sitting in guard here, content to control. Schwarzeneg working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Weber knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Schwarzeneg on the ground. Schwarzeneg sitting in guard, not really doing much. Weber is working an open guard so Schwarzeneg takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Veli Schwarzeneg dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Schwarzeneg shoots in and bounces Weber off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Schwarzeneg pushing down on Weber's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Schwarzeneg sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Weber defending well though. Schwarzeneg keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Weber looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Schwarzeneg seems to be looking for submissions.
Schwarzeneg postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Weber to stand up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weber wants to clinch up but Schwarzeneg keeps it at a distance. Weber lands a jab-cross combination. Weber throws a right and a left that Schwarzeneg avoids nicely. Weber seems a little lost for a moment, as Schwarzeneg dominates the positioning. Weber is pushing Schwarzeneg's head away, looking to escape. Schwarzeneg manages to hold on to the position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Weber will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Schwarzeneg has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Schwarzeneg lands some shots froms side control. Weber takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Schwarzeneg decides to stand back up. Schwarzeneg steps back and let's Weber get back to his feet. Dillon Weber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Schwarzeneg closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Weber quickly recovers to half guard. Schwarzeneg wants to control but Weber is keeping him busy. Schwarzeneg decides to stand up. Weber scores to the head and body with a nice combination! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Schwarzeneg changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Weber tries to avoid it but Schwarzeneg manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Weber to the ground. Weber escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Weber tries to clinch but Schwarzeneg moves away and Schwarzeneg counters with a straight right hand. Schwarzeneg manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Weber on his heels. He'll look to pass Weber's guard now, I'm sure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schwarzeneg loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schwarzeneg stands up over Weber, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Schwarzeneg stands up from guard. Let's bang! Schwarzeneg rushes Weber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Schwarzeneg successfully pulls guard.
Schwarzeneg kicks Weber off and gets to his feet. Schwarzeneg shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Schwarzeneg stands up and beckons Weber to join him on the feet. Weber misses with a double jab
and Schwarzeneg counters with a nice double leg into side control. Weber won't be happy with that. Schwarzeneg tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Schwarzeneg has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Schwarzeneg is working for a guillotine from mount but Weber frees his head quite easily.

Veli Schwarzeneg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Weber tries to keep at a distance but Schwarzeneg has taken the fight into the clinch. Schwarzeneg is trying to drag Weber to the mat but Weber just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. A head punch blocked on the inside by Schwarzeneg. Weber lands a nice uppercut. Schwarzeneg has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Weber is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Schwarzeneg drags the fight down to the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weber throws an elbow that misses. Schwarzeneg uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Weber's guard. Nice move by Schwarzeneg!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Schwarzeneg looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Weber pushes Schwarzeneg off looking to stand but Schwarzeneg dives back in and keeps control.
Dillon Weber has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Schwarzeneg is working for a submission of some sort.
Schwarzeneg takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Schwarzeneg has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Schwarzeneg stands up and beckons Weber to join him on the feet. Schwarzeneg moves into the clinch successfully.

Schwarzeneg escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Weber gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Schwarzeneg is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Weber is aware though and is defending well.

Schwarzeneg avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Schwarzeneg is controlling Weber's posture. Schwarzeneg is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. This has been an exciting period of action! Weber has a couple of punches blocked by Schwarzeneg.

Schwarzeneg ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Schwarzeneg no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Weber lands a couple of decent looking shots. Veli Schwarzeneg is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Weber throwing strikes but missing.
