Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Morrison Erikksen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jefferson Davis Hogg!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogg lands a nice hook to Erikksen's body. Erikksen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Erikksen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hogg is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Erikksen.


It looks like Jefferson Davis Hogg has been cut.
Erikksen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hogg.
Hogg looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Erikksen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hogg has time to react.

Hogg clinches with his opponent.
Hogg scores with a knee to the head.


It looks like Morrison Erikksen has been cut.
Hogg lands a knee to the head.
Erikksen is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Hogg escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Donk. Hogg catches Erikksen right on the button with a cross.
Hogg uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Erikksen.
Hogg ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Erikksen throws a good cross that connects.
A combination from Hogg does no damage.
Erikksen tests Hogg's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Erikksen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Erikksen there as he acknowledges the shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Erikksen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Erikksen throws a lazy right hand but Hogg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hogg keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Erikksen.
Erikksen tries to move into range but Hogg moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hogg thuds his right hand into Erikksen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A telegraphed right hand from Erikksen misses the target.
Hogg connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Erikksen covering up! Hogg comes in with a big uppercut and Erikksen goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jefferson Davis Hogg!
