Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leslie Saunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micky Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Leslie Saunders! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Micky Hall! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall throws a lazy head kick and Saunders counters with a shoot takedown. Hall fights it but they end up in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Saunders wants to control from the top but Hall keeps moving. Saunders is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hall has a closed guard, preventing Saunders from standing up. Saunders slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall trying to keep a closed guard but Saunders is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saunders sitting in guard, not really doing much. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hall shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Saunders manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Saunders trying to keep a closed guard but Hall is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Saunders keeping moving, preventing Hall from controlling successfully. Hall engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Let's hope that Hall has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Hall drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Saunders dives on top into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saunders would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Saunders content to stall in guard here. Hall is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hall being controlled here, momentarily. Saunders has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hall is proving hard to escape from. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Saunders showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Hall shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Hall misses with a head shot. Saunders uses the momentum to regain guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hall decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Saunders, up you get! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Micky Hall will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Saunders is looking to land body kicks. Hall gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Saunders is trying to pull guard but Hall turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Saunders tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

A head kick misses from Saunders. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Hall closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Micky Hall has got the better of the ground game so far. Hall decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saunders shoots and misses and Hall counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Saunders is rocked! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hall gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Oh Saunders is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Saunders tries to clinch but Hall moves away and Hall counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Saunders off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Hall follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Saunders was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Micky Hall!
