Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Barybin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Britva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barybin comes to the cage accompanied by Primus - My Name is Mud. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Boris Britva enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Barybin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Britva! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Britva tries to clinch but Barybin moves out of range. Britva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Barybin is looking for a counter combo. Barybin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Britva misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Barybin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nice sprawl there from Barybin as Britva shoots in. Barybin checks the leg kick. Britva shoots for a takedown but Barybin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Alexander Barybin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Britva. Barybin displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Boris Britva has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barybin clinches up with Britva and pushes him back against the cage. Barybin prevents Britva from breaking the clinch. Barybin throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Britvas head. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Barybin.
That's one minute gone in the round. Britva using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Barybin has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Barybin is defended easily by Britva. Barybin doesn't manage to clinch there - Britva circles away.
Barybin sets himself, and Britva steps forward looking for the clinch! Barybin avoids it this time. Barybin rushes Britva and presses him up against the cage. Britva gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Barybin regains guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Britva controlling from the top position. Barybin manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Barybin moves out of range of the body kick. Barybin is looking to counter the offense by Britva and move into the clinch. Barybin gets caught flat footed, as Britva shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Barybin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barybin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Barybin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Britva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barybin keeping moving, preventing Britva from controlling successfully. Barybin wants to sweep here but Britva controlling him for the moment. Britva advances to half guard. Britva trying to control the pace. Barybin wants to improve his position but Britva is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Barybin trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Britva is keen to just control but Barybin is a slippery customer.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Britva fails with the takedown. Britva avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Britva closes the distance and clinches. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Barybin turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Barybin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Britva has escaped the position, nice work there. Britva manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barybin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Britva is breathing heavily. Barybin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Britva swivels though and keeps the full guard. Britva keeping moving, preventing Barybin from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Britva is trying to control the position but Barybin postures up. Britva bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barybin's guard.
Barybin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Britva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Barybin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Britva is aware though and is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Britva slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Barybin wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Barybin trying to remain calm as Britva controls from the top position. Britva working the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Britva lands an elbow. Britva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Britva tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Boris Britva has got the better of the ground game so far. Barybin is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Britva is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Britva landing punches. Britva working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Barybin tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barybin tries to lock up and control but Britva gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Britva misses with a head shot. Britva avoids the attempt from Barybin to control. Britva landing strikes, looking to finish! Barybin is squirming around, avoiding Britva's attempts to control the action. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Barybin tries to hold on but Britva postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boris Britva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Boris Britva's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Britva is pressing down on Barybin's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Britva's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Britva controls Barybin momentarily but Barybin frees himself. Britva takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Barybin trying to control but Britva is working from the bottom. Britva trying to keep a closed guard but Barybin is proving a slippery customer.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Britva wants to stand and escape but Barybin is having none of it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nice sprawl there from Britva as Barybin shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Barybin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Barybin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Barybin thinks about countering with a head kick. Britva clinches up against the cage. Barybin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Barybin wants to clinch. Barybin lands with a good body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Britva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barybin pinned against the cage. Barybin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Barybin slaps away a takedown attempt from Britva, before circling back to the center of the mat. Barybin half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Britva takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Barybin has a takedown stuffed. Britva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Barybin throws a big counter combination but Britva scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barybin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Britva sprawls well. Britva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barybin gets slowly back to his feet. A head kick from Barybin lands but Britva takes it in his stride. Barybin wants to clinch up but Britva keeps it at a distance. Barybin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Britva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Barybin sprawls well initially but Britva persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexander Barybin. I think Barybin has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
