Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trouble Some (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Some's choice of entrance music: Von Hertzen Brothers - Coming Home. Trouble Some has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Matt Diaz's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Trouble Some!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Diaz looks for the body kick but Some saw that one coming.
Some is looking to slow Diaz down with leg kicks.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Some, right into the meat.
Some loads up on a big right hand but Diaz slips the punch.
Some throws a half hearted mid kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Some enables Diaz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Some manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Diaz looking to sit in guard and control but Some gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Some wants to control from the top but Diaz keeps moving.

Diaz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Some can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Diaz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Some stacks Diaz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Some!
Some tries to move to mount but Diaz blocks the move with his legs.

Diaz is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Bad Pluto! (18 Elite Coach), so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Some is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Diaz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Some swings around for an armbar but Diaz sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Some's guard.

Diaz throws a right and a left that Some avoids nicely.

and Some makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looks like Matt Diaz has been cut.
Some moves forwards but Diaz connects with a nice, crisp jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
