The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mankiw tries to work over Austin's front leg with a kick but Austin checks it.
Mankiw throws a low kick, looking for Austin's leg but Austin calmly moves out of range.
Austin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Austin throws a nice inside leg kick.
Austin finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Austin dodges the punch combination from Mankiw.
Austin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Mankiw connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Austin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Mankiw connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Austin momentarily.
Mankiw throws a leg kick that misses.
Mankiw misses with a straight right.
Mankiw stuns Austin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
