Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aoki Funkyama!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryo Miyaichi!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miyaichi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Funkyama can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Miyaichi wants to control but Funkyama is having none of it.
Miyaichi is still in real trouble! Can Funkyama finish him?
Funkyama postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Miyaichi looks a forlorn figure.
Funkyama postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Miyaichi bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Funkyama and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aoki Funkyama!
In his post fight interview, Aoki Funkyama started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
