Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Pepper counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Pepper shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Belo sprawls well. Belo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pepper gets slowly back to his feet.

Pepper chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Belo can pounce on him.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pepper crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Belo - the referee stops the clock and Pepper gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Belo. Pepper manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Belo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pepper pinned against the cage. Pepper gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Pepper walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Belo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

A nice leg kick lands there from Pepper.

and Pepper counters with a left and a right that stings Belo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pepper half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Pepper finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Belo's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Pepper falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Timoteo Belo!
