Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dewayne Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Kresh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dewayne Cain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Kresh! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cain tries to clinch up but Kresh circles away and keeps his distance. Kresh throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cain tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kresh is in Cain's guard. Kresh drops back looking for a leg! Cain is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cain manages to kick Kresh off! Kresh jumps back into Cain's guard. Kresh drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cain dives on top into guard. Cain is fighting to break Kresh's control of his arms but Kresh is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cain preventing the sweep. Cain loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Cain keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kresh's head. Cain throws a big right hand that misses. Cain postures up in Kresh's guard and throws a big left but Kresh blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cain working some strikes from top position. Kresh should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Cain throws a strike but Kresh rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kresh trying to move into half guard but instead Cain has managed to sweep! Cain landing with the ground and pound. Cain lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cain trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kresh's guard. Kresh has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Cain throwing strikes but missing. Cain cracks Kresh with a solid left hand. Kresh has a closed guard, preventing Cain from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kresh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cain is one step ahead there. Kresh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cain's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Cain looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kresh is one step ahead there. Cain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kresh advances position into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kresh tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kresh has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kresh tries to advance to mount but can't. Kresh moves into full mount! Kresh goes for an armbar but Cain turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Cain. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kresh avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but James Kresh will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Cain doesn't manage to clinch there - Kresh circles away.
Kresh is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Kresh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cain as he jumps to the side. Dewayne Cain is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kresh tries for a takedown but Cain sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Cain leaves Kresh with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Dewayne Cain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Kresh. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kresh tries for a takedown but Cain sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Cain was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cain tries to clinch up but Kresh circles away and keeps his distance. Cain tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. James Kresh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A lazy body kick from Cain and Kresh counters with a nice double leg into guard. Kresh wants to control from the top but Cain keeps moving. Cain is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kresh defends well. James Kresh has got the better of the ground game so far. Cain looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kresh wants to pass the guard but Cain is keeping the position. Cain will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Cain had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kresh defends it easily. Cain looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Cain darts in trying to clinch and Kresh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cain's guard. Cain will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kresh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kresh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Cain trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Cain keeping moving, preventing Kresh from controlling successfully. Cain doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kresh postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cain is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kresh, into his guard. Cain throws an elbow that misses. Kresh uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cain's guard. Nice move by Kresh! Cain keeping full guard, as Kresh tries to pass. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Kresh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Cain tries to close the distance and clinch but Kresh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kresh shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cain's guard. Cain looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Kresh passes Cain's left leg - he's now in half guard. Kresh is working for a kimura but Cain is defending it quite comfortably.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kresh passes to side control. Kresh wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Cain, who protects the arm well. Kresh in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Cain is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
