Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mister Blizt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Boyette (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mister Blizt! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Boyette! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boyette lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Boyette fails to land with a series of punches.
Boyette rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blizt moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Boyette closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Blizt is refusing to be controlled, as Boyette sits in half guard. Blizt wants to control but Boyette is keeping busy.
Boyette looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Boyette is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Boyette not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Boyette missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Blizt is looking for a sweep. Boyette is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Blizt makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Blizt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blizt is looking to stand up but Boyette isn't so interested in that idea. Boyette pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blizt is keeping the position for now. Blizt wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boyette misses with a wild combination.
Boyette misses with a jab, cross combination.
Blizt tries to close the distance and clinch but Boyette swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Blizt drives through with a takedown into guard. Blizt decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Blizt tries to clinch up but Boyette circles away and keeps his distance. Boyette misses with a body shot.
Boyette takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Boyette looks gassed! Blizt fails with an attempt to clinch.
Blizt checks a leg kick nicely. Boyette takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Danny Boyette has been cut. Blizt takes the fight into the clinch. Boyette gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Blizt throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Boyette working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Blizt's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blizt tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boyette trying to control the position from guard on top but Blizt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boyette pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Blizt is keeping the position for now. Boyette won't allow Blizt to sweep him here. Blizt keeping moving, preventing Boyette from controlling successfully. Boyette is working Blizt over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Boyette scores with the left hand. Blizt knows he should have avoided that one. Blizt takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Blizt shoots for a takedown but Boyette saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Boyette swats away the attempt to clinch by Blizt. Blizt takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Blizt throws a head kick that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blizt is looking to clinch. Nice takedown defense from Boyette. No joy for Blizt on that attempt. Boyette changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Blizt looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Boyette scores with a couple of short elbows. Boyette wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Blizt, who protects the arm well. Boyette landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Blizt tries to buck Boyette off but Boyette is having none of it. Blizt prevents Boyette from moving into mount. Boyette working the head and body with strikes. Boyette tries for a kimura but Blizt is defending well. Boyette working the ground and pound from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blizt stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Blizt is looking to reverse the position. Boyette is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Blizt has escaped the position, nice work there. Blizt is looking to regain half guard here but Boyette keeps moving and retains side control. Blizt takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Blizt might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Blizt takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Blizt wants to control but Boyette postures up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boyette scores with punches from side control. Boyette decides to stand back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Boyette dominated that round. The cut man is working on Danny Boyette's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Blizt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boyette paws at him with a jab and circles away. Boyette shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Blizt looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Boyette lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Boyette has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Blizt defend it? Boyette steps over the head and cranks it - Blizt is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Boyette!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Danny Boyette! Danny Boyette is the new super heavyweight champion!
