Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Orpo Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jokinen comes to the cage accompanied by Oops! I Did It Again by Children of Bodom. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins misses with a series of wild punches.
Hopkins feints a jab promting Jokinen to slip. Hopkins then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jokinen slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hopkins moves out of range of the body kick.
Jokinen throws a leg kick but Hopkins checks it.
Jokinen lands with a kick to the temple. Hopkins shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Vinny Hopkins has been cut.
Jokinen throws out a loose jab but Hopkins uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jokinen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jokinen or perhaps it was just good defense by Hopkins, which made it look bad.

Hopkins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jokinen was covering up waiting for the punch and Hopkins finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jokinen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hopkins stacks Jokinen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hopkins!

Jokinen wants to sweep here but Hopkins controlling him for the moment.
Jokinen has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hopkins is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jokinen.
