Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sandor Clegane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muh Texii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sandor Clegane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sandor Clegane!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Muh Texii!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Donatello Bradman and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Texii takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Texii takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Texii fails with the takedown.
Nice uppercut there from Clegane.
Clegane lands a nice hook to Texii's body. Texii takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Texii closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Texii pushes off an throws an elbow but Clegane leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Texii tries to throw a body punch but Clegane avoids it by throwing Texii back against the cage.
Texii lands an elbow inside that Clegane shrugs off.


It looks like Sandor Clegane has been cut.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Texii has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Texii prevents Clegane from breaking the clinch.
Texii is pushing Clegane up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Texii has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Clegane avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Clegane wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Texii has him pressed against the cage.

and Clegane counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Clegane.
Sandor Clegane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Muh Texii.

Clegane seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Texii is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Clegane is looking to counter the offense by Texii and move into the clinch.
Texii shoots for a takedown but Clegane saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
No luck for Texii with that takedown attempt.

Muh Texii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Clegane tests Texii's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Clegane digs a good hook to Texii's body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Clegane scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Clegane catches Texii with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Clegane is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Texii can do to turn this around?

and Clegane counters with a nice right hand that sends Texii toppling to the canvas! Texii scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Clegane finish him?!

Texii get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Texii stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Clegane runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sandor Clegane!

Our winner, Sandor Clegane, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
Muh Texii spoke after the fight, saying 'This was a fluke; I am the best...'.
