PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Bardzinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Jackson Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson Jr takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jackson Jr cracks Bardzinski with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Jackson Jr connects with a right hand. Bardzinski shakes it off.
Jackson Jr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jackson Jr connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Jackson Jr smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Jackson Jr might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Jackson Jr is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bardzinski had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Jackson Jr lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Jackson Jr counters with a nice uppercut.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Jackson Jr has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bardzinski takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jackson Jr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bardzinski looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Jackson Jr feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bardzinskis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Bardzinski looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
