Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Quarry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brian King could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Alex Quarry's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Quarry! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King closes the distance and pushes Quarry back into the cage. King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. King lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Quarry gets caught napping as King dives in and scores a takedown. Quarry manages to retain guard. King wanted to stand there but Quarry had control of the position. King gets to his feet. Quarry looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Quarry fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging King to the ground. Quarry is now in King's guard. Quarry stopping the sweep attempt from King. King thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. King wants to stand but Quarry is controlling the position. Quarry wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quarry advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. King lands a couple of sideways elbows. King misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Quarry working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. King punching from the bottom.
King is looking to escape. King punching from the bottom.
King lands with a few short shots to the body. King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. King punching from the bottom.
King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. King misses with some strikes from the bottom.
My spies in Werewolf's cave inform me that Quarry has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Quarry wants to free his trapped foot but King is holding on for dear life with his legs. King is looking to escape. Quarry is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. King doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Quarry.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. King pushes Quarry off and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quarry darts in looking for a takedown but King gets double underhooks and turns Quarry into the cage. King fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Quarry to the ground. King is now in Quarry's guard. King wants to stand but Quarry has a closed guard, so he can't escape. King gets to his feet. Quarry looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Quarry has a takedown stuffed. Quarry looks winded! Quarry tries to keep at a distance but King has taken the fight into the clinch. Quarry tries to pull guard but King forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Our sources have told us that King has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Brian King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Quarry. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. King pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Quarry on his heels. He'll look to pass Quarry's guard now, I'm sure. King stands up from guard. Let's bang! King lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Quarry circles away quickly and effectively. King shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than King was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! King decides to stand up, so the ref orders Quarry to his feet. King rushes Quarry and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. King breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Quarry fails to land the takedown. Quarry is on the wrong end of a nice combination from King.
That's four minutes gone in the round. King throws a right and a left that both miss. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Quarry shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense. Brian King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. King clinches with his opponent.
Quarry tries to pull guard but King holds him up against the cage and eventually Quarry drops back down to his feet.
King breaks from the clinch.
King throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Quarry was covering up waiting for the punch and King finishes the takedown easily into guard. King stands up and waves to Quarry to follow him. King misses with a few strikes there.
King shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than King was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! King decides to take the fight back to the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian King dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Quarry shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense. Quarry has a takedown stuffed. King scores with a one two! Quarry had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. King catches Quarry with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Quarry forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
