Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Davy De Decker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JJ Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). JJ Bush is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Davy De Decker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, JJ Bush!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Decker misses with an uppercut. Bush saw that one coming.
Bush tries for a takedown but De Decker circles away easily
and De Decker counters with a stiff right hand.
We've been told by De Decker's head coaches at Miletich Xtreme Fighting Systems that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
De Decker lands a body shot.
A jab from De Decker misses.
Bush shoots for a double leg takedown but De Decker sprawls well. He's pushed Bush's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bush has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bush there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Decker tests Bush's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Bush fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. De Decker sprawls well initially but Bush persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

De Decker wants to improve his position but Bush is controlling well.

De Decker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bush on the ground.

Bush thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed De Decker's head.

De Decker regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bush.

Bush has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
De Decker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bush controls the pace.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
De Decker can't keep his opponent in guard - Bush advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Bush is thwarting De Decker's attempts to control the position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Nice strikes from Bush there.

De Decker is defending against the submission attempts here by Bush.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bush seems to be working for a kimura but De Decker defends the submission attempt.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bush takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

JJ Bush dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bush has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bush ducks under a wild hook from De Decker.

De Decker lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Bush closes this distance looking for a takedown but De Decker circles away.
De Decker stuffs the takedown attempt from Bush. Bush gets slowly back to his feet.
Davy De Decker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JJ Bush.

De Decker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Bush closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
De Decker managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Bush.

De Decker dodges the ground and pound from Bush.
JJ Bush has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bush in side control lands a decent elbow.
Bush sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but De Decker is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Bush throws an elbow but De Decker slips to the side and avoids it well.
Bush lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear De Decker down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bush misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
De Decker tries to buck Bush off but Bush is having none of it.
Bush cracks De Decker with a big right hand but De Decker just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Bush thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Bush misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Bush in side control, throwing shots but De Decker defends.
De Decker is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The strikes coming from Bush are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Bush lands a few punches from side control.

De Decker is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bush wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by De Decker, who protects the arm well.
Oh De Decker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bush cracks De Decker with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Bush immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! De Decker is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Bush!
