Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Krause (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artem Nazarev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krause comes to the cage accompanied by Heart of a Champion. Nazarev has chosen Telnyuk Sisters - Sokil/Falcon as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Krause! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Artem Nazarev! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nazarev throws a looping overhand right but Krause ducks down to avoid it. Nice shot by Nazarev.
It looks like James Krause has been cut. Nazarev throws a shot from downtown. Krause moves away and avoids it. Nazarev works the jab nicely. Krause bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Nazarev tries to get back to half guard but can't. Krause tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Krause has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Nazarev is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krause is looking to take a break and control but Nazarev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Nazarev is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Krause trying to control the action but Nazarev is working from the bottom. Nazarev looking for a sweep but Krause has passed into full mount! Oh no! Nazarev tries to reverse the position but Krause maintains control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nazarev is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Krause pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krause is working for a guillotine from mount but Nazarev frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Nazarev tries to get back to half guard but can't. Nazarev has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Nazarev keeps trying to improve his position. Krause looking to control and managing it successfully. Nazarev can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krause takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Nazarev is in all sorts of trouble here.
Nazarev is trying to reverse the position but instead Krause has taken his back - oops! Nazarev is in bad spot here.
Nazarev tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Krause has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Nazarev is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
