Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Krause (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artem Nazarev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krause comes to the cage accompanied by Heart of a Champion. Nazarev has chosen Telnyuk Sisters - Sokil/Falcon as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nazarev throws a looping overhand right but Krause ducks down to avoid it.

It looks like James Krause has been cut.
Nazarev throws a shot from downtown. Krause moves away and avoids it.
Nazarev works the jab nicely.
Krause bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nazarev tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Krause tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Krause has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Krause is working for a guillotine from mount but Nazarev frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Nazarev has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
