Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mieczyslaw Okninski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian McCall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mieczyslaw Okninski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ian McCall! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCall uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Okninski. A combination from Okninski does no damage. McCall misses with a jab, cross combination.
Okninski fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Ian McCall has been cut. McCall with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Okninski to score with a decent uppercut. An inside leg kick from McCall misses. McCall throws a right and a left that both miss. Okninski went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Okninski throws out a token jab with nothing on it. McCall appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. McCall has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. A combination from McCall does no damage. Okninski was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. A looping hook to the body misses from Okninski. McCall does a little dance to reset his feet. McCall uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Okninski. Okninski moves in looking to clinch but McCall pushes him off. A big right from Okninski misses. Okninski misses with a straight right. Okninski throws a body shot but no joy. McCall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Okninski is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Okninski misses with a few strikes there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Okninski wants to clinch up but McCall keeps it at a distance. McCall wants to counter the offense by Okninski and move into the clinch position.

McCall misses with a two punch combination.
We've been told by Okninski's head coaches at Warrior Dogs that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. McCall defending well as Okninski loads up on a big left hand. Okninski dodges the punch combination from McCall.

Okninski lands with a good body shot. Okninski misses with a looping left. McCall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Okninski counters with a nice body shot. Okninski cracks McCall with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Okninski walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Okninski throws a series of punches but McCall moves out of range. Okninski loads up on a big right hand but McCall slips the punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCall clinches. McCall blocks a punch to the side of the head.
McCall tries to throw a body punch but Okninski avoids it by throwing McCall back against the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Okninski misses with a punch on the inside.
Okninski lands with a right to the head. Okninski lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of McCall backwards. McCall tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Okninski's elbow. McCall trying to control the position but instead, Okninski has worked for underhooks and has pushed McCall into the cage. A short right from Okninski on the inside. McCall is stalling here.
Okninski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Okninski throws a right hand that misses
and McCall counters with a straight right hand. Okninski swats away the attempt to clinch by McCall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCall slips a jab from Okninski. Okninski walks into a jab. Nice cross by McCall. Okninski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McCall has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Okninski finds it's way round the side to connect with McCall's head. Okninski takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A telegraphed right hand from Okninski misses the target. Okninski ducks under a wild hook from McCall. McCall closes the distance and clinches. Okninski throws a head punch that misses. A body shot lands from Okninski.
McCall wants to get back to striking at distance but Okninski won't allow it.

That has opened up Ian McCall's cut even more. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Okninski swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Okninski misses with a short punch on the inside. McCall is trying to force a seperation but Okninski has the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCall is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. McCall is trying to break the clinch but Okninski has him pressed against the cage. McCall wants to break free but Okninski has control.
Okninski taking a breather. Okninski is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. McCall tries to break the clinch but Okninski is controlling the position. Okninski lands an uppercut. Okninski swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Okninski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McCall scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Okninski throws a left and a right that both miss
and McCall counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mieczyslaw Okninski will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ian McCall's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
McCall throws a nice looking combination but Okninski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jab from Okninski. McCall moves out of range as Okninski strikes. Okninski slips under a jab from McCall. Okninski throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Okninski slips a jab and a cross from McCall.
Okninski seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Okninski avoids a punch combination nicely.
McCall tries to clinch but Okninski is having none of it. Okninski on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by McCall. McCall obviously looking to wear him down.
Okninski is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. McCall tries to clinch up but Okninski circles away and keeps his distance. McCall closes the distance and lands a one-two. McCall darts in and clinches Okninski up against the cage. Okninski is working McCall over against the cage. McCall has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A short right from Okninski on the inside. Okninski looking to stall.

McCall is trying to break the clinch but Okninski is controlling him. Okninski has McCall pressed against the cage, preventing McCall from circling away and getting back to striking at range. McCall is trying to break free. McCall wants to get back to striking at distance but Okninski won't allow it.

The cut above Ian McCall's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Okninski scores with a shoulder strike. Okninski lands with a light punch inside. Okninski tries to work over McCall's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. McCall's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! A short right hand to the side of the head by Okninski.
Ian McCall's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Mieczyslaw Okninski has scored more points in the clinch so far. McCall tries to work over Okninski's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Okninski lands a hook that snaps the head of McCall backwards. Okninski lands a nice uppercut.
McCall is rocked! McCall is trying to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCall avoiding damage.
Okninski pushes McCall against the cage. Okninski is working some dirty boxing. Okninski pushes off with a quick right hook! McCall goes down! McCall tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Okninski moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mieczyslaw Okninski!
