Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick O Shae !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teobaldo Silva!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva wants to clinch.
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
O Shae has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
O Shae drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Silva gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Silva turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Silva manages to end up in side control.
Silva moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
O Shae wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
O Shae gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Silva is keen to just control but O Shae is a slippery customer.
Silva wants to pass the guard but O Shae is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Shae is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Silva is tapping! Great win for O Shae !
