Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zephyrus Belenus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Pichushkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pichushkin has chosen Sacred Reich - Rest in Peace as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zephyrus Belenus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alexander Pichushkin! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pichushkin takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Pichushkin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Belenus to score with a decent uppercut. Belenus ducks under a wild hook from Pichushkin. It looked like Belenus was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Belenus has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Slaughterhouse - LOD in the buildup to the fight. Belenus slips a jab and a cross from Pichushkin.
Decent striking displayed by Belenus there. Belenus has managed to clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. A nice right hand lands inside from Belenus. Belenus unloads a knee to the mid-section. Belenus pulls guard successfully.
Pichushkin postures up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Belenus tries to land a sweep but no joy. Belenus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pichushkin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pichushkin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pichushkin preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pichushkin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Pichushkin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belenus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pichushkin wants to stand but Belenus is controlling his posture from full guard. Belenus is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pichushkin is aware though and is defending well. Belenus bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pichushkin's guard. Belenus wants to pass the guard but Pichushkin is keeping the position. Pichushkin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Belenus defends it easily. Pichushkin wants to control position but Belenus is using a can opener to pass guard... He's turned it into a full on guillotine from mount now! Big trouble for Pichushkin here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Zephyrus Belenus! A relieved looking Zephyrus Belenus thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
