Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alen Zalac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zalac comes to the cage accompanied by Survival - Eminem. Oscar Tate acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alen Zalac! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Tate! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Tate with that takedown attempt. Zalac went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Tate tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Zalac defends well and Tate ends up having to push Zalac into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Zalac misses with a two punch combination.
Tate closes the distance and clinches up with Zalac, looking for a takedown. Tate pushes Zalac against the cage but Zalac circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Alen Zalac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oscar Tate. Tate clinches up with Zalac and pushes him back against the cage. Tate escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zalac throws a body kick that misses. Zalac throws a combination that misses letting Tate counter with a right hand. Zalac fails with an attempt to clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Zalac. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tate looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tate takes the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tate breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Zalac fails with the takedown. Zalac looks to land a right hand but Tate moved out of range. A combination from Zalac does no damage. Zalac tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tate swivels and escapes. Zalac is breathing heavily. Tate has a takedown stuffed. Tate throws a wild body kick that Zalac sees coming a mile off. Zalac shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Zalac stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zalac wants it to stay on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Zalac. No joy for Tate on that attempt. Zalac dives in for a single leg takedown but Tate sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Tate breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tate is trying hard to land a takedown here. Zalac sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Zalac shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tate counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Zalac tries to close the distance and clinch but Tate swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tate shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zalac pinned against the cage. Zalac gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Zalac gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tate.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zalac stuffs the takedown. Tate fails with the takedown. Tate shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Zalac doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tate makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Tate shoots in for a takedown but Zalac shows good takedown defense. Tate instigates a clinch. Tate wants to take the fight to the mat but Zalac manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Tate manages to pull guard.
Zalac thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Tate working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zalac.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zalac trying to control the position from guard on top but Tate is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tate looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Tate looking for a guillotine here but Zalac defends easily.
Tate is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Oscar Tate dominated that round. That's time! Zalac's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Zalac shoots in but no luck this time. Zalac throws a right hand that Tate ducks under and follows up with a left that Tate also avoids with ease. Oscar Tate seems to be getting the better of the standup. Zalac defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tate. Nice takedown defense from Tate. No joy for Zalac on that attempt. and Tate counters with a three punch combo that has Zalac backing up. Zalac nods at Tate to acknowledge the strikes. Tate misses with a body kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tate throws a head kick that misses. Tate walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Zalac checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. No luck with that takedown attempt from Zalac.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tate. Tate tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Zalac is able to avoid easily. Zalac avoids the head kick by Tate.
Zalac is looking to clinch. Tate has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Zalac defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tate. No joy there for Zalac, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Zalac is pressed up against the cage. Tate has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zalac down to the mat. Zalac avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Tate lands with a short head shot on the inside. Tate keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Zalac's efforts to push away. Tate throws a knee to the head but misses.
Tate is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Zalac gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Zalac wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tate has him pressed against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tate keeps control of Zalac as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Zalac is defending well against a takedown attempt. Tate breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Zalac tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tate is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. No luck for Tate with that takedown attempt. Zalac misses with an attempted mid kick.
Tate shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zalac as he avoids it easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tate takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Zalac fails in his attempt to clinch. Tate misses with a leg kick and Zalac counters with a two punch combo. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Oscar Tate will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Tate has escaped and now he's on top! Tate is pushing down on Zalac's leg trying to pass to half guard. Zalac is fighting to maintain full guard but Tate has managed to sneak the leg through. Still in half guard, Tate seems content to control. Tate moves nicely into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Zalac is looking to regain half guard here but Tate keeps moving and retains side control. Tate is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zalac knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The strikes coming from Tate are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zalac seems a little lost for a moment, as Tate dominates the positioning. Tate stands up and beckons Zalac to his feet. Tate shoots for a takedown but Zalac saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Alen Zalac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oscar Tate. Tate moves into range and clinches up with Zalac. Tate pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tate has taken the fight to the clinch.

Tate changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zalac fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Tate clinches up against the cage. Tate pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice takedown defense from Tate. No joy for Zalac on that attempt. Tate has closed the distance and engaged Zalac in a clinch.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Zalac postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tate is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Zalac, into his guard.
Alen Zalac has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Oscar Tate is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action! Tate stays in close to Zalac's body and controls the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Oscar Tate comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Tate winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
