Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between BV Rasp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trixie RackaFella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trixie RackaFella has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, BV Rasp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trixie RackaFella!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
RackaFella blocks a head kick by Rasp.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Rasp.
Rasp tries to stand but RackaFella controls the position and pulls Rasp into his guard.
RackaFella is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
RackaFella not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rasp looking to sit in guard and control but RackaFella gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Rasp is striking from the bottom but RackaFella uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Rasp is pressing down on RackaFella's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rasp is looking to control RackaFella's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rasp avoid being mounted?
RackaFella moves into full mount! Rasp won't be happy about that!
Rasp is looking to improve his position but RackaFella isn't that keen on the idea.
RackaFella wants to finish this one by submission but Rasp is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from RackaFella.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Rasp is doing well to control the position and prevent RackaFella from advancing to side control.
Rasp is breathing heavily.

RackaFella is keen to just control but Rasp is a slippery customer.

That was a close round but I would say that BV Rasp will probably get the nod.
That's time! Rasp's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

RackaFella shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rasp counters with a head kick. That will keep RackaFella thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Rasp shoots in for a double leg but RackaFella sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Rasp counters with a series of strikes. RackaFella will be more careful next time no doubt.
RackaFella shoots in looking for a takedown. Rasp tries to sprawl out of it but RackaFella keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rasp manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
BV Rasp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trixie RackaFella.

Rasp closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming RackaFella to the mat! RackaFella manages to get full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rasp accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

RackaFella bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rasp's guard.
Rasp has his hands on RackaFella's head, controlling the position.
Rasp tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rasp will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

RackaFella tries to bum rush Rasp with a series of wild strikes but Rasp uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rasp throws a series of punches but RackaFella avoids them all with ease.

Rasp throws a leg kick which misses RackaFella's front leg but catches the back leg as RackaFella tries to avoid it.
RackaFella shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rasp as he avoids it easily.
Rasp takes a swing at RackaFella's ribcage but misses.

RackaFella shoots in but Rasp avoids the takedown attempt easily.
BV Rasp is winning the standup battle so far.
RackaFella lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rasp throws a combination. RackaFella tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

BV Rasp is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
RackaFella is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rasp is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rasp has escaped and now he's on top!

Well Rasp has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
