Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jong Un Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anna Velvet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Anna Velvet was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jong Un Kim! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anna Velvet! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velvet on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kim. Kim obviously looking to wear him down.
Jong Un Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kim feints and then cracks Velvet's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Velvet down. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kim lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Velvet has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Velvet and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Kim throws a chopping leg kick but Velvet manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Velvet thinks about the counter body kick. Velvet checks a leg kick nicely. Velvet unleashes a big counter combination but Kim bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Kim misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Velvet.
Velvet swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Nice defenses there by Velvet. Kim throws a hook but Velvet avoids it easily. Velvet avoids the body shot from Kim.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Velvet blocks a low kick nicely. Kim throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Velvet replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Kim blocks it well. Kim throws a low kick, looking for Velvet's leg but Velvet calmly moves out of range. Kim throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim scores with a leg kick.
Kim just misses with a punch to the body.
Kim lands a really nice looking cross but Velvet seems unphased.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Velvet checks a leg kick. Kim thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Velvet if he has to take too many more of those.
Velvet takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kim checks a low kick from Velvet. Velvet takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kim throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Velvet gets a clinch. Velvet is trying to stall.
Kim lands on the inside with an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim scores with a hook to the body. Velvet pushes Kim back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Velvet blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Velvet is trying to force a seperation but Kim has the dominant position. Kim manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kim is trying to control the position but Velvet postures up. Velvet's corner is telling him to maintain position. Velvet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Velvet tries to stand but Kim is controlling from the bottom. Kim is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Velvet rolls with it to try and escape but Kim cranks on the arm and Velvet is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jong Un Kim! Jong Un Kim retains his bantamweight title! Jong Un Kim decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
