The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers works McCann's body with a nice hook.

Powers lands a really nice looking cross but McCann seems unphased.

We've been told by McCann's head coaches at Montreal's Finest that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Powers throws an off balance right hand
and McCann counters by moving into the clinch.
McCann is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Powers lands a hook to the side of the head.
McCann manages to break the clinch.
McCann lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
It looks like Troy Powers has been cut.
Powers lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. McCann is looking to close the distance but Powers sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! McCann crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope McCann is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Troy Powers spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
