PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Tuco Salamanca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razor Ramon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Tuco Salamanca has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tuco Salamanca seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tuco Salamanca! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Razor Ramon! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramon misses with a head kick.
Ramon bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Salamanca's head. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Good shot there by Salamanca. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Salamanca, as that shot connected.
Salamanca connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Ramon checks a leg kick. Ramon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Salamanca misses with a hook. Ramon ducked under it nicely. Salamanca tries to bum rush Ramon with a series of wild strikes but Ramon uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ramon blocks a jab. Ramon throws a leg kick but Salamanca sees it coming and moves out of range. Ramon tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Ramon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ramon feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Salamanca's calf. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Salamanca throws the left hand but Ramon avoids the punch easily. Ramon appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Nice uppercut lands for Salamanca. That snapped Ramon's head back.
Tuco Salamanca seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice jab there from Salamanca.
Ramon is rocked! Salamanca connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Ramon's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Ramon - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Tuco Salamanca! Tuco Salamanca was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
