Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keneth Hensley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolas Amyot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicolas Amyot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keneth Hensley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nicolas Amyot! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amyot closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hensley circles away. Nicolas Amyot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Amyot closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hensley managing to block the knees to the body from Amyot.
Amyot taking a breather. Amyot has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hensley is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Amyot tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hensley just stands there and leans against the cage. Keneth Hensley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicolas Amyot. Hensley successfully pulls guard.
Amyot looking to pass the guard. Amyot must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hensley pulls Amyot in close to his closed guard and prevents Amyot from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hensley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Amyot tries to free his leg and advance position but Hensley is retaining full guard. Hensley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Amyot wants to get up but he can't break Hensley's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hensley tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hensley pulls Amyot in close to his closed guard and prevents Amyot from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Amyot instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Amyot is trying to drag Hensley to the mat but Hensley just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Hensley works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Amyot looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hensley controls from within his opponent's guard. Amyot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hensley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hensley's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Hensley prevents Amyot from getting back to his feet. Amyot throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Amyot is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Amyot misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Amyot bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Hensley is not content to let Amyot control the position. Hensley is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Amyot's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hensley is controlling Amyot's trapped leg to prevent Amyot from advancing to side control. Amyot is trying to control. Hensley wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nicolas Amyot will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Amyot fails with the takedown. Hensley feinted with a counter takedown. Hensley looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Hensley seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Amyot throws a strike from the bottom but Hensley passes into side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amyot looking for a sweep but Hensley has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Hensley tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hensley gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Amyot darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hensley is looking for a sweep. Amyot is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hensley kicks off Amyot and gets to his feet. Amyot instigates a clinch. Hensley has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Amyot uses from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hensley looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hensley has control of Amyot's left arm, preventing Amyot from doing any damage. Amyot wants to get up but he can't break Hensley's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hensley looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Amyot trying to control but Hensley is working from the bottom. Amyot won't allow Hensley to sweep him here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hensley seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Hensley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Amyot trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Hensley manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Amyot seems keen to control Hensley's posture. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Amyot trying to keep a closed guard but Hensley is proving a slippery customer.

Keneth Hensley dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hensley scores with a nice hook to the head. Amyot is looking to control Hensley's arms but Hensley gets an underhook and turns him. Now Amyot has his back to the cage. Hensley tries to pull guard but Amyot holds him up against the cage and eventually Hensley drops back down to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hensley moves out of range of the body kick. Amyot fails with a takedown attempt. Hensley went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Amyot shoots in and gets a takedown into Hensley's guard. Amyot trying to control the position from guard on top but Hensley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hensley is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Amyot presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hensley lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Nicolas Amyot comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Amyot has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Nicolas Amyot! A determined Nicolas Amyot didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
