Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Corrigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vic Fij (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corrigan comes into the arena with Flagpole Sitta blaring out of the sound system. Vic Fij told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing good reports from Corrigan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Corrigan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fij tries to avoid it but Corrigan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fij to the ground. Fij escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fij's coach down at North American Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fij's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
