Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tamiwe Kamanula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kamanula comes into the arena with LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out blaring out of the sound system. Palmer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sans Pression - Numero 1. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tamiwe Kamanula! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Palmer! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Palmer fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kamanula is looking for a counter combo. Palmer shoots in looking for a takedown. Kamanula tries to sprawl out of it but Palmer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kamanula manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tamiwe Kamanula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Palmer looks to throw the jab but Kamanula is out of range. Kamanula misses with a head kick.
Kamanula lands a glancing blow to the side of Palmer's head. Palmer checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. And Palmer tries to counter it with a takedown but Kamanula pushes his down on his head and steps out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kamanula looks to land a right hand but Palmer moved out of range. Kamanula looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Kamanula stuffs the takedown attempt from Palmer. Palmer gets slowly back to his feet. Tamiwe Kamanula has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Palmer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kamanula throws a low kick but Palmer avoids it. Palmer changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Kamanula connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Kamanula stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kamanula wants it to stay on the feet. Kamanula jabbing away but nothing is landing. Palmer misses with a body kick. Kamanula lands a head kick!

Kamanula fires out a quick counter leg kick but Palmer just manages to avoid it. Palmer takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Palmer is rocked! We've been informed that Palmer has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Kamanula misses with a straight left. A clash of legs there as Palmer blocks the low kick. Kamanula throws a leg kick but Palmer sees it coming and moves out of range. Palmer changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Kamanula misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And Palmer tries to counter it with a takedown but Kamanula pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palmer misses with a looping right. Palmer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Palmer moves into full mount! Kamanula won't be happy about that! Kamanula wants to try and get back to his feet. Kamanula working to try and regain half guard.
Kamanula on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kamanula tries to get out of the position. Palmer goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kamanula is on top in guard.
Kamanula has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kamanula looking to pass the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kamanula stays in close to Palmer's body and controls the position. Kamanula decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Palmer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. We've been told by Kamanula's head coaches at King's Palace that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kamanula lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Palmer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kamanula is looking to regain half guard here but Palmer keeps moving and retains side control. Palmer passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Kamanula! Palmer looking for a guillotine from mount but Kamanula is having none of it. Palmer is working for a guillotine from mount but Kamanula frees his head quite easily.
You get the feeling that Kamanula really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Palmer prevents Kamanula from getting the reversal. Palmer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Palmer looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tamiwe Kamanula will probably get the nod. That's time! Kamanula's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Donk. Kamanula catches Palmer right on the button with a cross. Kamanula throws out a loose jab but Palmer uses good head movement to avoid it. Kamanula scores with a decent looking hook. Kamanula connects with a solid leg kick. Palmer keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Palmer just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kamanula stuffs the takedown. Kamanula lands a two punch combo.
Palmer is still on wobbly legs! Can Kamanula finish him? Kamanula moves out of range of the leg kick from Palmer. Palmer seems to have recovered his senses. Kamanula wants to land a leg kick but Palmer is out of range. Palmer changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Tamiwe Kamanula is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kamanula throws a leg kick that is checked so Palmer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kamanula can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Palmer controls the pace. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kamanula wants to stand and escape but Palmer is having none of it. Palmer's corner is telling him to maintain position. Palmer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kamanula is keeping the position for now. Kamanula pushes Palmer off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. A nice inside leg kick there by Kamanula. That's going to slow Palmer down. Palmer thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palmer throws a looping overhand right but Kamanula ducks down to avoid it. Kamanula cracks the inside of Palmer's front leg. Kamanula misses with a low kick. Kamanula scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Kamanula slips under a jab from Palmer. A little feinted left hand from Kamanula on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kamanula fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Palmer. Kamanula chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Palmer throws a hook to the side of Kamanula's head but Kamanula sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Palmer throws a head kick that misses. Kamanula misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Palmer attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. It looked like Kamanula was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Palmer misses with a low kick as Kamanula jumps back. Kamanula tries a head kick but it misses.
Palmer changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Kamanula misses with an uppercut. Palmer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kamanula ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Palmer blocks a head kick by Kamanula.
A jab from Kamanula finds it's way through Palmer's defenses. Palmer avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Kamanula throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Palmer with the counter takedown but Kamanula avoids it easily. Kamanula throws a right hand that Palmer ducks under and follows up with a left that Palmer also avoids with ease.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kamanula throws a leg kick but Palmer sees it coming and moves out of range. Kamanula buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kamanula feints and then cracks Palmer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Palmer down. Palmer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Palmer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kamanula as he avoids it easily. Kamanula tries a head kick but it misses.
Kamanula misses with a looping left. Kamanula pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kamanula lands with an uppercut that bounces Palmer off the cage and back into range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kamanula lands with a thumping leg kick.
A head kick misses from Kamanula. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tamiwe Kamanula dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Kamanula connects with a right hand. Palmer shakes it off. Kamanula is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Palmer can do to turn this around? Palmer blocks a head kick by Kamanula.

Kamanula's corner calls for a 1-2. Kamanula obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Palmer throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Palmer shoots in but Kamanula avoids the takedown attempt easily. Whack! Kamanula lands a heavy head kick that drops Palmer. The ref tackles Kamanula to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Palmer was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Tamiwe Kamanula! Tamiwe Kamanula seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. George Palmer was interviewed post fight and said 'Great job Victor. Huge props to ya!'.
