The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Venas pushes Walker up against the cage in a clinch.
Venas looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Venas has had enough of the clinch but Walker keeps him there for the moment.

Walker jumps guard and drags Venas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Venas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Walker is trying to defend but Venas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Walker is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Venas pulls his head out easily.

Walker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Venas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Walker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Venas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Walker is tightening it up a little... Venas has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Venas reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Venas taps out! Nice BJJ there by Walker!
