Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Wexler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wexler's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Go To Sleep - Eminem. Summers has chosen Meatloaf: In The Land Of The Pigs as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shawn Wexler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 15 - 4, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dylan Summers! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wexler throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Summers stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. No luck for Wexler with that takedown attempt. Summers throws a leg kick but Wexler sees it coming and checks it nicely. Summers misses with a head kick.
Summers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Wexler keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Wexler keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Wexler is looking to improve his position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wexler working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Summers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Summers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Summers is looking to work some ground and pound but Wexler has wrist control. Summers with a flurry of punches that miss. Wexler avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wexler looking to hit a scissor sweep but Summers is one step ahead there. Wexler throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Summers keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wexler's head. Wexler is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Summers throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Summers throwing strikes but missing. Summers won't allow Wexler to sweep him here. Summers throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wexler works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Summers postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Wexler looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wexler lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Wexler trying to control but Summers is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wexler trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Summers working for a triangle but Wexler defends it easily.
Wexler content to stall in guard here. Wexler passes easily into side control. Nice work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wexler tries to move to mount but Summers blocks the move with his legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wexler throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wexler swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dylan Summers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Summers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wexler throws a lazy right hand but Summers sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Wexler lands a nice hook to Summers's body. Summers takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Wexler lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Wexler throws the left hand but Summers avoids the punch easily. Wexler swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wexler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Summers defending well as Wexler loads up on a big left hand. That's one minute gone in the round. Wexler stalks Summers and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Summers's face. Summers staggers backwards, shaken. Wexler blocks a head kick by Summers.

A little jabbing left from Summers on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Wexler shoots and misses letting Summers counter with a right hand. Summers looks for the body kick but Wexler saw that one coming. Summers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. That was a close second round but I would say that Shawn Wexler will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Summers is working away from the top position though. Summers scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Wexler is pressing down on Summers's left leg trying to get back to full guard.
