Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Venas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Raymond Stokes has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Raymond Stokes seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
As Venas tries to get set, Stokes tries to push him back and clinch up but Venas manages to avoid the attempt.
Venas shoots in looking for a takedown. Stokes tries to sprawl out of it but Venas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stokes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stokes went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Venas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stokes as he jumps to the side.
As Venas looks to move away, Stokes throws a big counter combo bu Venas just gets out of the way.
Venas fails with the takedown.
Raymond Stokes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Casey Venas.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Venas forces Stokes back against the cage and clinches.
A bit of stalling here from Stokes.

Stokes stalling.
Venas is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Stokes is keeping busy.
Stokes effectively controlling the action here.
Stokes lands a right hand that snaps the head of Venas backwards.
Stokes can't find room to land a body shot as Venas controls the action.
Venas takes an elbow to the forehead.
Stokes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Venas tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Stokes's elbow.
Venas has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Stokes lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Venas has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Stokes avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Stokes is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Venas wants to get back to striking at distance but Stokes won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Venas being controlled against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Stokes gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.
Venas pulls Stokes into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stokes's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Stokes gets to his feet. Venas looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Venas shoots in but no luck this time.
Stokes looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Stokes stuffs the takedown.
Stokes appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Venas rushes Stokes and presses him up against the cage.
Venas blocks an elbow strike.
A frustrated look appears on Venas's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Venas tries to throw a body punch but Stokes avoids it by throwing Venas back against the cage.
Venas is trying to stall.
Venas tries to break free but Stokes pushes him back against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Stokes keeps control of Venas as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Venas fails to pull guard.
Venas looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Come on Stokes - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Venas is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Venas can't break the clinch.
Stokes stalls.
Stokes holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Venas jumps guard but Stokes stands there with Venas around his waist. Venas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
A bit of stalling here from Stokes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stokes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Venas sprawls well initially but Stokes persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Venas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stokes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Stokes thows a huge punch but Venas dodges it nicely.
Venas is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Stokes has latched onto it... Big trouble! Stokes pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Venas is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Stokes!
