Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nathaniel White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun Stephens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shaun Stephens will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nathaniel White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shaun Stephens! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stephens closes the distance and clinches up with White, looking for a takedown. Stephens pushes White against the cage but White circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Stephens shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with White but White pushes him off and we're back to square one. White stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and White wants it to stay on the feet. A counter left hand to the body from White misses its target. Nathaniel White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shaun Stephens. Stephens has managed to clinch.

White pulls guard effortlessly. White is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stephens softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Stephens is looking for a takedown up against the cage. White gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. White jumps guard and drags Stephens to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stephens postures up in White's guard and throws a big left but White blocks it. White striking off his back but it's not causing Stephens any problems. White looking for a guillotine here but Stephens defends easily.
White has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stephens can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. White could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. White is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stephens defends well. Stephens really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Stephens wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. Stephens got a little sloppy there for a moment and White has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stephens has managed to get both his arms back between White's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stephens is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Stephens trying to control but White is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stephens stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. White swivels though and keeps the full guard. White had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stephens defends it easily. Stephens wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. White keeping full guard, as Stephens tries to pass. Stephens must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stephens accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. White is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stephens wants to control from the top but White keeps moving. Stephens missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. White trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Stephens trying to control the position from guard on top but White is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Stephens slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Stephens wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by White, who protects the arm well. Stephens goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, White has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Stephens but great work by White. Stephens looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Stephens's face as White controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stephens takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The referee asks White politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. White prefers to stall for the moment though. Stephens is trying to get back to half guard. White looks up at the clock and then as Stephens takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, White smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
White is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Stephens's shoulder. That is not cool. White seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Stephens for as long as he can get away with. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. White landing strikes. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Stephens tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nathaniel White dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nathaniel White's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Stephens gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and White counters with a series of strikes. Stephens will be more careful next time no doubt. Stephens moves into the clinch successfully.
White lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Stephens wants to get back to striking at distance but White won't allow it.
White keeps control of Stephens as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Stephens tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and White avoids it. White breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Our spies down at at MMA Sanok Training Center inform us that Stephens has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Stephens has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but White has passed into side control.

Nathaniel White overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. White happy to just control the position for now. White prevents Stephens from escaping the position. Stephens taking a bit of punishment here - White scoring with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. You can see the frustration on Stephens's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Stephens wants to get back to his feet. Stephens is looking for a sweep. White is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stephens will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. White looks up at the clock and then as Stephens takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, White smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Stephens can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Stephens down.
Stephens tries to escape but White is in control. Stephens tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but White presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Stephens is breathing heavily. White controlling his opponent. White with a couple of short strikes. Stephens in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. White forces the positional change into back control. White lands strikes to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stephens is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Stephens is trying to remain composed but White is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. White throwing damaging strikes from the back! Stephens could be in trouble here!

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! White has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Stephens clinches up with White and pushes him back against the cage. Stephens jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as White walks away with a smile on his face. Stephens gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Shaun Stephens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stephens misses with a takedown and White counters with a nice body shot. Stephens gets a double leg takedown into White's guard. White is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Stephens takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. White in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Stephens has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but White can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. White slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White continues to stall. White with a nice head shot there. Stephens looking to hit a scissor sweep but White is one step ahead there. White sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Stephens dives in and grabs White's left leg, looking for a takedown. White pushes down on Stephens's head and hops out. White throws a big counter combination but Stephens scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Nathaniel White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shaun Stephens. Stephens closes this distance looking for a takedown but White circles away. Stephens with a lazy takedown attempt and White counters with a left and a right that stings Stephens. White decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. White is figuring out what he wants to do next. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Nathaniel White showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for White, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
