Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shane Martinez! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A chopping leg kick lands by Frost. Martinez moves into the clinch successfully.
Frost fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Martinez on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Frost gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Martinez.
Martinez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Martinez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Martinez lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Martinez is trying to control the action in half guard but Frost is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Martinez is nestled in close to Frost, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Frost wants to control but Martinez is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Martinez scoring with strikes to the body and head. Frost trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frost looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Frost tries to kick Martinez off in order to stand up. Martinez Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Martinez trying to control the position but Frost is working away. Martinez working the body and head with strikes. Martinez tries to advance to mount but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Martinez goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Frost has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Martinez but great work by Frost. Martinez is looking for a sweep. Martinez looks gassed! Frost tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Martinez sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Martinez wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost prevents Martinez from standing back up.
Frost is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Martinez is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
