The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherk misses with an attempted mid kick.
It seemed like Foley was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Sherk connects with a nice looking jab.
Foley scores with a nice strike.

It looks like Dave Sherk has been cut.
Sherk does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Foley! But no joy.
Sherk shoots in for a double leg but Foley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sherk.
Sherk looks to land a combination but Foley avoids it well.
Sherk misses with a head kick.
Sherk walks into a jab.

Sherk is rocked!
Foley lands a big right hook! Sherk looks hurt but is still standing! Foley lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Sherk falls down and Foley dives in with a huge hammer fist! Sherk's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Foley runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
