Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yas Uru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alex Bailey! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yas Uru! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bailey throws a leg kick and Uru counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bailey is lucky that one didn't land flush. Bailey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Uru's waist but Uru gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bailey off to one side. Uru now looks to counter with a shot at the body. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Uru has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Bailey shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Uru but Uru pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bailey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

We've been told by Bailey's head coaches at Lock and Roll Grappling Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bailey connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Bailey swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bailey misses with a left hand and Uru counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bailey tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Uru throws a fast counter high kick but Bailey manages to duck under it in time. A telegraphed right hand from Bailey misses the target. Bailey misses with an uppercut
and Uru connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Uru moves into range and connects with a jab. Good work by Uru as he checks the leg kick. Uru now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Bailey misses with a right hand and Uru counters with a lovely shot to the body. Bailey throws a sloppy head kick and Uru counters with a lovely shot to the body. Bailey misses with a double jab.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bailey misses with a takedown attempt and Uru counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Bailey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bailey throws a looping overhand right but Uru ducks down to avoid it. Uru now looks to counter with a shot at the body. A jab from Bailey misses. Uru let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Bailey misses with a low kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Bailey misses the target. Bailey throws the left hand but Uru avoids the punch easily. Uru now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Bailey misses with a left hand and Uru counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bailey closes the distance and clinches. Bailey manages to break the clinch.
Bailey fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Uru on the side of the head. Bailey fails with the takedown and Uru counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Bailey throws a hook but Uru avoids it easily. Yas Uru is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bailey throws a lazy head kick and Uru counters with a left to the body. Bailey connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Uru's hands. Alex Bailey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Uru ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bailey throws a right hand that misses
and Uru counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bailey misses with a body shot
and Uru counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bailey is lucky that one didn't land flush. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bailey misses with a straight left. Uru follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Bailey throws a jab when Uru was well out of range. Bailey misses with a left hand and Uru counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yas Uru dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Bailey throws a hook to the side of Uru's head but Uru sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Uru now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Bailey throws a lazy uppercut
and Uru counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Uru uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bailey.
Bailey tries to work over Uru's front leg with a kick but Uru checks it. Uru now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Bailey closes the distance looking to clinch and Uru counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bailey thinking. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bailey shoots in and drives through. Uru sprawls well. Uru gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uru is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bailey passes Uru's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bailey trying to control the action but Uru is working from the bottom. Bailey wants to free his trapped foot but Uru is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bailey stalling away here and it's allowed Uru to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Bailey trying to control the position from guard on top but Uru is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bailey trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bailey is looking to pass into half guard but Uru pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Uru is in guard.
Bailey looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bailey is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bailey looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Uru puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Uru tries to stand and escape but Bailey is controlling the position. Uru prevents Bailey from improving his position. Uru really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bailey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bailey is trying to maintain the position but Uru is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Uru seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Bailey is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Bailey is working hard here to advance position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bailey is trying to maintain the position but Uru is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A nice side step and Uru releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Bailey misses with a wild body shot. Bailey has his takedown stuffed and Uru makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Bailey rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Uru is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Bailey rather than just go for the knockout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bailey. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Bailey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Uru works Bailey's body with a nice hook. Bailey throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bailey tried to score with a low kick but Uru checks it. Bailey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bailey misses with a straight left. Uru let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Bailey takes a body punch but keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Yas Uru comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Uru has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
