Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quico Matching (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quico Matching! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Little Joe! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe misses with a low kick. Matching moves in looking to clinch but Joe pushes him off. Matching tries to clinch up but Joe circles away and keeps his distance. Matching closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Matching thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Matching landing strikes. Joe is trying to control Matching's posture but Matching avoids it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matching is trying to get an arm triangle but Joe is defending well. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Joe is working to avoid the ground and pound but Matching connects with a decent elbow. Joe is trying to buck Matching off. You can see the frustration on Joe's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Joe might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Matching haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Matching advances to mount. Joe is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Joe is desperately trying to improve his position but Matching has a good base and remains in mount. Joe wants to control but Matching is having none of it. Joe is squirming around, avoiding Matching's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joe regains half guard. Joe wants to improve his position but Matching is controlling well.
Matching wants to take a breather but Joe is having none of it. Matching slows the pace down in half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Joe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Joe won't allow Matching to sweep him here. Joe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Joe postures up in Matching's guard and throws a big left but Matching blocks it. Joe trying to control the position from guard on top but Matching is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Matching trying to control the position.
Joe is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Matching is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Matching has escaped and now he's on top!
Joe pushes Matching off and scrambles back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quico Matching dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Matching swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Joe. Matching shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Joe manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Joe wants to stand up but Matching is controlling him. We've been informed that Joe has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Matching is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Matching looking to sit in guard and control but Joe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Matching lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Joe managing to control the position. Joe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Joe seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Matching stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Joe swivels though and keeps the full guard. Joe throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Joe is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Joe gets caught napping as Matching dives in and scores a takedown. Joe manages to retain guard. Matching wants to control from the top but Joe keeps moving. Matching not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Matching wants to control from the top but Joe keeps moving. Joe throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Joe keeping moving, preventing Matching from controlling successfully. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Joe is trying to hold Matching in close to prevent damage but Matching has managed to pass into half guard.
Matching will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Joe is looking to improve his position.

Quico Matching dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Matching changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Joe tries to avoid it but Matching manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Joe to the ground. Joe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Joe shoots in but no luck this time. A punch combination from Joe misses. Matching shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Joe pinned against the cage. Joe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Joe gets tackled into the cage by Matching. Matching maintains the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe stalling in the clinch.
Matching is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Joe gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quico Matching. That's going to take a lot out of him. Matching is struggling to control the position. Matching jumps guard but Joe stands there with Matching around his waist. Matching gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Matching blocks it with crossed arms. Joe is defending well against a takedown attempt. Joe breaks from the clinch.
Joe manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Matching on his heels. He'll look to pass Matching's guard now, I'm sure. Matching wants to stand and escape but Joe is having none of it. Joe trying to control but Matching is working from the bottom. Joe stops Matching from standing up. Joe showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Matching is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matching keeping moving, preventing Joe from controlling successfully. Matching controlling the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Matching. No joy for Joe on that attempt. Joe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Matching was well out of range. Poor timing from Joe.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joe is looking to clinch but Matching is avoiding it.
Matching shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Joe as he avoids it easily. Both fighters circling a little - Joe finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Joe drives through with a takedown into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Joe wants to control from the top but Matching keeps moving. Joe works a leg free and moves into half guard. Joe prevents Matching from standing back up.
Joe is trying to control. Matching wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Joe prevents Matching from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Joe tries to pass to full mount but Matching defends it. Matching is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Joe pulls his head out easily. Joe performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Joe throws a sloppy head kick and Matching counters with a thumping low kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Joe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matching's waist but Matching gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Joe off to one side. Matching tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Joe defends well and Matching ends up having to push Joe into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. As Matching backs off Joe throws a huge counter combo but Matching manages to avoid it all. Little Joe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Quico Matching is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Joe throws a sloppy head kick and Matching moves out of range easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Little Joe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Matching has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
