Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boyce Fields! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fiddy Pence! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pence fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Fields to the ground. Pence is now in Fields's guard. Pence is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pence pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fields is keeping the position for now. Fields has his hands on Pence's head, controlling the position. Fields really is a fat lump. Fields wants to stand up but Pence is controlling him. Fields can't keep his opponent in guard - Pence advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pence is looking for a kimura here.
Pence is trying to work for a kimura but Fields is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pence looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fields wants to control but Pence is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pence is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pence is working for a submission of some sort.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fields is refusing to be controlled, as Pence sits in half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Pence is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fields defends it well. Pence seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fields tries to sprawl but Pence drives through with a takedown into half guard. Pence seems to be working for a kimura but Fields defends the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pence is working for a submission of some sort.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pence scoring with strikes to the body and head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fields wants to get back to his feet.
Pence wants to control but Fields is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fiddy Pence dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Fields fails with a takedown attempt. Pence leaves Fields with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Boyce Fields seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice sprawl there from Fields as Pence shoots in. Pence shoots in but no luck this time. Fields was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pence misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Boyce Fields has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fiddy Pence.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fields throws a series of punches but Pence avoids them all with ease. And Pence tries to counter it with a takedown but Fields pushes his down on his head and steps out. Pence changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fields tries to avoid it but Pence manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fields to the ground. Fields escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fields fails with a takedown attempt. Fields shoots for a double leg takedown but Pence sprawls well. He's pushed Fields's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Pence thinks about the counter body kick. Fields stuffs the takedown. Fields keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pence shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fields sprawls well. Fields wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pence gets slowly back to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fields. Fields fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fields shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fields tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pence swivels and escapes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A momentary lapse in concentration from Fields enables Pence to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fields manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Pence throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fields works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Pence looking to sit in guard and control but Fields gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Pence has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Fields doesn't defend quickly enough and Pence has managed to lock this one up! Can Fields escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Pence on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Fiddy Pence! An out of breath Fiddy Pence thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
