Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stan Marsh! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mark Avreli! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marsh throws a combination. Avreli tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Mark Avreli has been cut. Marsh swings for the body but Avreli moves out of range.
Marsh throws out a loose jab but Avreli uses good head movement to avoid it. Avreli shoots in but no luck this time. Marsh changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Avreli bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Avreli tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The ground and pound from Avreli seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Marsh wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
