Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deni Mukhtar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Deni Mukhtar enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Knox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Deni Mukhtar! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Darius Henderson and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Knox has taken the fight to the clinch.
Knox pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Knox swings widly with a right hand
and Mukhtar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Kevin Knox has been cut. Knox thows a left - swing and a miss! Mukhtar throws a counter combo. Knox swings for the body but Mukhtar moves out of range.
Mukhtar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Nice sprawl there from Mukhtar as Knox shoots in. Mukhtar is looking for the big counter here. Mukhtar stuffs the takedown. It seemed like Mukhtar was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knox gets in close and instigates a clinch. Knox is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mukhtar gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Knox. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knox blocking some punches.
Mukhtar gets through Knox's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Knox is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mukhtar gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Knox jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mukhtar walks away with a smile on his face. Knox gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Mukhtar showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Knox.
Despite the aggression on Mukhtar's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. No joy there for Knox, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Mukhtar lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knox moves into range and clinches up with Mukhtar. Knox is looking for a takedown. Knox using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Mukhtar has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Knox tries to score a body lock takedown but Mukhtar shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Knox escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Knox throws a sloppy head kick and Mukhtar counters with a left and a right... And another left! Knox is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Deni Mukhtar! Deni Mukhtar bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
