Mitchell comes to the cage accompanied by Ride The Lightning. Cardinal Sanctus has chosen Ghost B.C. - Secular Haze as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell misses with a straight left.
A nice inside leg kick there by Cardinal Sanctus. That's going to slow Mitchell down.
Cardinal Sanctus attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Cardinal Sanctus throws a low kick but it's checked well by Mitchell.
Cardinal Sanctus tries to close the distance and clinch but Mitchell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cardinal Sanctus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mitchell throws a hook but Cardinal Sanctus blocks it.
Cardinal Sanctus throws a quick inside leg kick.

Cardinal Sanctus has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mitchell tests Cardinal Sanctus's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mitchell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cardinal Sanctus manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cardinal Sanctus misses with a head kick.

Cardinal Sanctus appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Mitchell throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Cardinal Sanctus throws a sloppy head kick and Mitchell moves out of range easily.

Cardinal Sanctus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mitchell lands a jab to the nose.
Cardinal Sanctus moves to clinch but Mitchell breaks away
and Mitchell counters with a right hand to the body.
Cardinal Sanctus takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cardinal Sanctus throws a half hearted mid kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Cardinal Sanctus.
Mitchell keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Cardinal Sanctus moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Mitchell lands a big right hand that sends Cardinal Sanctus crashing to the mat! Mitchell stays standing though and waves Cardinal Sanctus back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mitchell cracks Cardinal Sanctus with a hook to the temple - Cardinal Sanctus is on wobbly legs here! Mitchell swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Cardinal Sanctus falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Mitchell wins by TKO!
