Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edwardo Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James has chosen Break Orbit by CFO$ as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Edwardo Campbell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve James! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Topper Green and Steve Erwin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
James drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Campbell really is a fat lump. Campbell is looking to stand up but James isn't so interested in that idea. James looking to pass the guard. Campbell trying to control the position.
James trying to control the position from guard on top but Campbell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Campbell wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Campbell looking to hit a scissor sweep but James is one step ahead there.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
James shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Campbell has his hands on James's head, controlling the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as James accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. James is looking to work some ground and pound but Campbell has wrist control. Campbell is looking to stand up but James isn't so interested in that idea.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. James throws a big right hand that misses. James wants to control from the top but Campbell keeps moving.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
James shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Campbell napping and manages to drive through into side control! Campbell sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Campbell is trying to get back to full guard. Campbell is staying active underneath James, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Campbell trying to hold on to James's head to control him but James postures up.
James stalling away here and it's allowed Campbell to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Campbell wants to improve his position but instead James has moved into half guard.
James wants to take a breather but Campbell is having none of it. Campbell gets full guard. James trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James with a flurry of punches that miss.
James got a little sloppy there for a moment and Campbell has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, James has managed to get both his arms back between Campbell's legs - danger averted.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Campbell is on top in guard.
James is trying to control the position from the bottom.
James has an active guard here but Campbell has managed to pass into half guard.

Steve James dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

James shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Campbell is trying to defend but James finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Campbell trying to control but James postures up.
James wants to control but Campbell is keeping him busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Campbell wants to get back to his feet. Campbell is refusing to be controlled, as James sits in half guard. James passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Campbell!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Campbell is trying to stand but he's just given James his back. James struggling to keep hold of the position.
Even with his hooks in, James manages to miss with strikes from the back. Campbell breaks James's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
James is trying to control the position from the bottom.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. James controlling the position. Campbell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Campbell is looking to stand up but James won't let him. James is looking to stand back up but Campbell counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by James. James is trying to control but Campbell manages to pass to mount!
James tries to lock up and control but Campbell gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. James wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. James turns into Campbell and is now in his guard.
Campbell wants to stand and escape but James is having none of it. James forces his way into half guard. Campbell wants to get back to his feet.
Campbell won't allow James to pass to mount. Campbell is trying to get back to full guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. James throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Campbell is refusing to be controlled, as James sits in half guard. Campbell is trying to stand back up but James is controlling him
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Campbell works his way to full guard. Good work.
James decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! James throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A counter left hand to the body from Campbell misses its target. Campbell fails to land the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

A good leg kick by James. Steve James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Campbell throws a leg kick that is checked
and James counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. James looking to sit in guard and control but Campbell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Campbell looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Campbell postures up.
 That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. James avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James wants to sweep but no luck. Campbell postures up.
James wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Campbell manages to pass to side control. James is trying to get back to full guard. Campbell wants to stand up but James has a hold of him and won't allow it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Campbell stalling. James trying to control from the bottom.
Campbell decides to return to a standing position. A lazy body kick from James
and Campbell holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Campbell lands a body punch in the clinch.
Campbell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Steve James is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Excellent takedown into side control there by James. James trying to control the position but Campbell is working away. Campbell is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked James off and has taken his back! James trying to get back to his feet but Campbell is in full control for now. Steve James has got the better of the ground game so far. I really don't envy James right now.
James takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. James just trying to survive but Campbell is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Campbell doesn't have the hooks in and James manages to turn into his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Campbell pushes James off and scrambles back to his feet.
Campbell moves into range and clinches up with James. James wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Campbell misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from James.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Campbell is trying to drag James to the mat but James just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
James has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Campbell is trying to keep an underhook but James manages to get the takedown into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Steve James. I've got James winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
