Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vallard Reus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John Eriksen!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eriksen moves in looking to clinch but Reus pushes him off.
Reus changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
The fight stays on the outside here - Eriksen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
And Reus counters with a quick kick to the body but Eriksen blocks it.
Eriksen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Reus half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Eriksen closes the distance but Reus moves to the side
and Reus counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
