Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Wilcox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Van Houten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dusty Wilcox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Robert Van Houten! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilcox shoots in but Van Houten avoids the takedown attempt easily. Van Houten throws a nice looking combination but Wilcox bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wilcox circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wilcox avoids the head kick by Van Houten.
Van Houten tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wilcox sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Van Houten somewhat. Robert Van Houten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wilcox circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van Houten feints and then cracks Wilcox's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wilcox down. A head kick misses from Van Houten. Van Houten throws a big shot that misses. Van Houten pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wilcox drops down looking for a counter takedown but Van Houten sprawls and moves away. Van Houten connects with a leg kick. Wilcox looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilcox gets the takedown into side control. Wilcox is trying to ground and pound but Van Houten uses the momentary lack of control by Wilcox to regain half guard. Van Houten is trying to get back to full guard. Wilcox is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Van Houten squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Van Houten really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wilcox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Van Houten tries to control Wilcox's body but Wilcox pushes him off. Van Houten squirms to his side and now Wilcox has his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Houten is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Wilcox looking for the choke but no joy. Wilcox controls the position. Wilcox seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Van Houten for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilcox is working for a rear naked choke. Van Houten is not defending it well and Wilcox has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Van Houten refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Van Houten's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dusty Wilcox!
