Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson throws a head kick but Eremenko moves out of range.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Eremenko as he jumps to the side.
No joy there for Wilson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Left hook, right uppercut from Wilson.
Some wild striking there from Wilson.

Wilson wants to clinch.
Wilson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Eremenko throws out the jab.
Wilson moves in looking to clinch but Eremenko pushes him off.

Eremenko has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wilson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

David Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wilson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Eremenko's head backwards.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Eremenko has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wilson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Eremenko rushes Wilson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Eremenko connects with a nice short shot to Wilson's temple.
Wilson is not content to let Eremenko control the position.

Eremenko is pressed up against the cage. Wilson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Eremenko down to the mat. Eremenko avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
