Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sobota shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Sobota swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Johnson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Sobota shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Alec Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michal Sobota.
Sobota misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been informed that Sobota has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Horrible takedown attempt by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Sobota, which made it look bad.
