Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aishy Moitomyie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Erickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Aishy Moitomyie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Aishy Moitomyie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erickson dives in and grabs Moitomyie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Moitomyie pushes down on Erickson's head and hops out.
Erickson tries to bum rush Moitomyie with a series of wild strikes but Moitomyie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Moitomyie tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Erickson manages to circle out of the way.
Moitomyie tries to clinch up but Erickson circles away and keeps his distance.
Moitomyie throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Erickson looks for a takedown but Moitomyie sprawls well.

and Moitomyie counters with a three punch combo that has Erickson backing up. Erickson nods at Moitomyie to acknowledge the strikes.

Erickson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Erickson misses with a takedown attempt - Moitomyie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Moitomyie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Moitomyie enables Erickson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Moitomyie manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Erickson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moitomyie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well Erickson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
